I installed a center console in my minivan (TSI Products 57315). Wanted to add some charging ports on the sides of the console. I installed a 6 port switcher in the console and then put one on each side. Now I have two USB ports on each side. The console is made of plastic. It wasn't difficult to drill a hole and use a dremel tool to make the hole the right size. If you don't have the right drill, this worked just fine. The cables seem strong. They were a bit long for my application. I rolled them up and tied them with wire. The only problem I found was tightening the nut on the back. There is no convenient place to hold the unit with a second wrench or pliers so you can tighten the nut. Figure I will have to re-tighten the nut in the console from time to time. All in all a good buy.
