Review on Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 215/60 R16 99W Summer by Jnis Zels ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I'm completely satisfied with the product, it works.

I bought this rubber in the last days of July 2022 for 9800r for a set of 195/65/15. Immediately put in the end until the end of November skated about 15 t. Km. This year, I changed my shoes in the 20th of March and until November 6 I drove a little something around 22 t. Km. As a result, the front wheels shrunk almost to the indicator. The rest of the tread is about 4mm, the rear is about 7mm. 50/50 city/highway mode. So the kit will be enough for the next season, and then in the trash. The previous rubber Bridge ecopia lasted much better to 70 thousand km of run on them, the tread residue was about 3 mm. Goodyear will perform worse in this regard. And so, in principle, good rubber, no hernias, no cuts, normal sidewall did not notice the softness. 100% suitable for the average driver. And with my runs under 50 t. Km a year, I will have to look for and try something else. Addition: On August 08, 2022, the rubber fell into complete disrepair on the front wheels, the remainder is 3-4 mm, the rear ones are less than 3 mm. During this season, I drove about another 15,000 km, for a total tire mileage of about 52,000 km. At this stage, the rubber frankly swims in any puddles, when hydroplaning, you need to be as focused as possible, otherwise the consequences can be sad. In rainy weather it became uncomfortable to ride. The braking distance has clearly increased, the noise from the rubber has remained at the same level. Handling on dry pavement deteriorated, but not critical. All in thought what to take next. Rubber, in principle, was worth the money. Now I will not take the next set. I am looking for a more wear-resistant and hydroplaning class A

Pros
  • In principle, not noisy, well-kept road in dry weather.
Cons
  • Wear out quickly, emerge early when aquaplaning
