Review on Efficient and Sturdy: Makita DS4000 2 Inch Drill Handle for Easy and Accurate Drilling by David Burns

I purchased this Makita DS4000 after the motor in my heavy duty DeWalt drill burned out while mixing concrete. This Makita is great! It's quiet here - I just finished mixing 16 bags of fence post concrete while working late into the night and didn't have to worry about the noise disturbing the neighbors because this drill is so quiet. As I mixed the buckets, it sounded a bit like the sound of a helicopter in the distance (most of the noise came from the mixer blades hitting the sides of the bucket). It is well protected from moisture. There was a leak at the end of the hose and the water splashed everywhere making this tool wet. But he never shut up, just kept purring. The forward/backward button is protected from moisture by a rubber coating and the handles are made of plastic that protects the user from electric shock. This is one of my new favorite tools.
