After a week of preschool classes I decided my almost 3 year old needed a bento box. She's used to having separate plates for each meal, and I didn't want her having to use lunch to open a bunch of bags and containers at lunchtime every day. I narrowed my choices between some of the leading brands of this type of lunch box and settled on Bentgo Kids. This lunch box is adorable and perfect for little hands. My daughter, who is very picky about when and what she eats, can't wait to take her new girls lunch box to school. The new "Brights" line features fun, bright colors that will grab kids' attention and make mealtime special. One thing I knew about this bento box from previous reviews is that the closing portion can be a little tricky for a toddler. I bought mine ahead of school so I could teach my daughter to drive. All you have to do is pull the lid up and forward when closing it for it to close properly. Although I don't see that as a problem. I had imagined it to be much more difficult than it really is. Overall, I would definitely give this lunch box 5 stars. The materials are thick and durable, and the rubberized edges feel nice, giving the lunch box a premium feel. I also like that the inner shell can be removed for easy washing. Would recommend this to anyone with a 3-7 year old I would say. You can fit half a sandwich in most of the tray, which was a big plus for me as some of the bento boxes I looked at were very small. I hope this review was helpful!
