Saved my cat's life, seizures stopped.

I am very surprised that there are no reviews or information on this product for cramps. My previously healthy 7 year old Maine Coon/Tubby mix started acting very strange, walking around confused (like trying to find something), crying profusely and drooling. At first I thought he was ingesting some toxins as he was also throwing up more than usual. About 3 or 4 days after the onset of the first symptoms, he had a grand mal seizure that lasted about 45 seconds (one of the worst and scariest). most heartbreaking thing i have ever seen). We immediately took him to the emergency room where, after observation, we were told that the cause of the seizures was unknown and that those initial salivation attacks were in fact minor seizures. We were told he would need a CT scan and a follow-up with a neurologist, all of which would cost around $5,000. We were also told that he would pose many risks as he would need anesthesia for the tests. In a situation where I couldn't afford $5,000 in diagnostic testing, the only thing I could do was get tested. kitten home and look for an alternative. He was prescribed Keppra, which I had to mix with his food three times a day. Unfortunately, he would have petit mal seizures throughout the day, even while on medication, up to 8 a day, each time losing control of his bladder and becoming more and more frustrated after each episode. In addition to the seizures, he experienced numerous negative side effects from his medications. I was aware of the dangers of quitting completely, so I hoped to wean him off the breast by providing him with a natural alternative. keep him calm Eventually, I came across several articles mentioning that a lack of taurine in cats can lead to seizures. I immediately did a little research to find a taurine supplement and ordered the Life Extension Cat Mix. I mixed the dose into his food in the evening, right after delivery he ate a few bites of food and shortly after that he had a petit mal attack (not because of the additive but because he was just eating it so much at that moment). after this attack he stopped eating and has not had any attacks since. I can honestly say one dose was enough, he had 8 (or more) seizures a day before none, in one night! It took a while for him to fully recover from all the ill effects of the drugs, I weaned him fairly quickly, but as a result his front teeth started rotting anyway. I continue to give him this supplement and he has returned to his previous condition, even his teeth have improved. It's been over 4 months and since the first dose his seizures have completely gone, absolutely amazing! I was very surprised that a simple deficiency could cause so many problems, especially since I'd always fed him a very high quality grain free diet that supposedly contained all the necessary nutrients. It was such an easy decision, I am so thankful for this product.
