These little wooden trays are *not* attached and can be easily taken apart. Their staffs are connected by tiny thin wires (so no wonder). Since the holes for these wires are almost invisible, assembling them is a real challenge. The rest of the product is satisfactory. This has enabled me to work from home in my chair while not having access to my regular desktop. Legs are a bit uncomfortable to lay out/fold; the frame does not extend or clogs the legs. Also, some of the edges feel a bit raw, or at least less polished, despite appearing to have received the same waterproofing treatment, and the corners are quite sharp. I think this is a very smart device that needs development, but it's a great idea and this model gets the job done as long as you don't have to use a mouse. And this large cup holder is convenient to place a smart device for your information.
