After hearing horror stories about people's devices getting burned and damaged by third party chargers, I want to tell you that the last thing I wanted was a fake. Luckily mine came branded with the Nintendo logo and packaged in the original Nintendo box. I've only used it for regular charging and not docked, but I've been using it for about a month and a half with no problems! My only complaint is that I wish the price was a little lower considering it's still just an electronic charger. I guess the moral of the story is that if you want to buy this product, especially if it's been used before, you're fed up with who you're buying from. If you find that the product you ordered is not a genuine Nintendo product, it is probably better to return it, refund your money and try again than to try your luck.
