Review on Schumacher 125 12V Chrome Fan by Grant Nordstrom

3 pieces bought for installation in the body of a horse carrier. I will be cutting the connector and cord off the existing wiring for routing during towing. I plugged it straight out of the box into my truck's cigarette lighter. Low, off and high worked great but VERY loud and high pitched whistle at high speed that came and went! Bracket is not the same as in the photo! See photos and videos. You can only tilt it so far. Maybe I can put the fan back on the back of the mount and see if that gives me more time to spin the ball. Seems solid enough for my intended use, but noise is an issue. The fan cage is thinner than expected, but what's nice and unexpected is that it's secured with curved pins at the front. This takes some time but makes cleaning easier. Given the intended environment. Major advantage! If only I could make the roar of the engine go away!
