It's not perfect. But it helps. In my daily work I was so cold in the office despite wearing many layers under my jacket/coat. I was so embarrassed to always wear a jacket in a professional setting. It was at that moment that no one saw my business casual attire. So I looked for them carefully and found them! The finish and exterior materials are amazing! The fleece inside is so cozy. I feel particularly comfortable when I'm on the go. It's like I'm in my bed wrapped in a fleece blanket lol. The outer texture is somewhat silky smooth. This outer texture definitely makes it look more "upmarket" than the traditional "long johns". I've always found it difficult to wear panties under leggings and definitely under jeans because it's like deleting two "gritty textures". lots of friction and pulling and grinding. But with this base layer, jeans, leggings, knitwear, etc. simply slip over it. This piece is definitely a 5 star piece. I've always hated wearing denim because the wind just tears through the fabric, but this base layer is my go-to under denim. It is also very stretchy as you will see in my photos. The reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because I didn't realize it didn't offer 'new warmth'. It just insulates whatever current heat you have (but that's what all base layers do, lol). In the office it would be "warmer” for me, but not warm enough. But when I wore it under a sweatshirt and coat to a show in 30-degree New England weather, I was sweating so bad! Ordered XL for information. I'm 5'4", 191 lbs, bra size 38D, waist 36", hips 45.25", jean size 16. Hope this helps others when ordering. I will definitely be ordering another one in one order another size OTHER REASONS why there isn't a 5 star for m: I also wish/hope they have some necklines, I'm sometimes embarrassed to see that crew neckline over my sweaters, shirts, etc. And it is a bit odd that the top base layer is so long you will see the material sticking together when I wear jeans please see the photo where it is creased in the lower back over the jeans also note that I have a Took a few photos of the jeans but if you look closely they are different. I have a photo with jeans unbuttoned/unbuttoned, I have a photo with a secure zipper. The bottom tier photo is tucked in and not tucked in. Shirts will ge under jeans on the quadriceps folds.
