At first glance it looks a lot smaller than I expected. can be 4-5 inches long and a few inches wide. The first few times I used it I was disappointed as the volume buttons doubled as song switch buttons. You need to hold + and - for volume or click once to change the song. It wasn't clear to me. It makes a lot of noise because it's so small. I honestly hang it in the shower because I don't trust the "water resistance" of this speaker. Instead of being completely waterproof. Functions, buttons, etc. There is a rubber flap that you can lift to reveal the electronic parts, which strikes me as an extremely flimsy design. I wouldn't believe it's covered in water or anywhere near the shower spray. Definitely a nice little speaker. I've used it in the shower 7-8 times and haven't had to charge it since I took it out of the box.
