We recently started renovating various rooms in our home. We bought new bunk beds for our kids and I wanted to do something more. I found this wallpaper. I fell in love with him immediately. My whole family are Star Wars fans. At first I didn't want to spend money on this wallpaper because there are other wallpapers that are cheaper, but in the end I liked the drawing the most. I read about using self-adhesive wallpaper and came up with the following. First wash the walls. I took a sponge, mild soap and water and scrubbed the entire wall. Then I came back with a damp rag to make sure I washed off all the soap. 2. Let it dry. I let it dry for a few hours. I had windows open so I don't think it took that long but wanted to make sure.3. I bought a $6 kit from Revain that only included a knife and some plastic tools to remove the wallpaper. It was worth it. I didn't run around trying to find different items. However, an old credit card and utility knife will likely work. I also used a spirit level and a hair dryer. After doing everything I started on the left side of the wall, I just started pasting the paper over it. The design I had has a very light mesh that is part of the design. I started by smoothing out the grid so I had a fairly straight drawing. When I got to the next sheet to go on the wall, I lined up the design first, so I didn't really use about 6 inches of the grid. Roll up for not queuing but it was ok. I went step by step, built part of the design and glued it to the wall. Peel back the back, align the design, stick on the wall and so on. The paper stretches slightly so you can manipulate it to do whatever you want. In some places I stretched the paper too much with a hair dryer, the heat helps it to get back to its original shape. that's right. I definitely removed some sections and redesigned them to fit the design better. My wall is definitely not perfect, but it was easy to hide flaws with this design. Another tip: Don't let the adhesive side stick to the other adhesive side, I can't get them apart. In general I am very satisfied with the result. It's been over 2 weeks since I installed it and I haven't had any problems. It was pretty easy to install and nobody helped me. I want to do it in another room and use this stamp again.
