I gave this 3 stars which is neutral in my little world because I'm really confused. I'm out of ink, I don't actually use an inkjet printer because it costs more than my lasers. But I had to use a photocopier, so I needed ink. It's been a long time since I bought ink for this printer, so I don't have a memory to rely on. My experience tells me that HP cartridges come in a foil or plastic bag inside the display box. That didn't happen. I opened the box and it contained only an empty cartridge. There was no security sticker on the box, but HP says not all cartridges fit yet. HP also reports that some cartridges do not come with inner packaging. When I installed this cartridge, the printer recognized it as "Genuine HP". It could be, and from all my research it's probably perfectly legal, I just wanted to express my concern and confusion if it turns out to be bad.
