I bought these socks for my husband as a New Year's gift. He's very particular about what socks he wears, so I took the extra time to go through all the options in Revain. I kept coming back to them: they looked perfect, they sounded just as good, and the reviews were positive. (I never buy a product without mostly positive reviews.) I took a chance and bought it and my husband loves them! They are thick, of excellent quality, and warm. We live in Colorado and go to the mountains every week. These are the best socks my husband said he has had. I plan to buy more than one more surprise for him in the future. They also greatly reduce the feeling of wet cold that can occur when hiking in the snow. They absorb sweat and keep feet warm and dry.
