Purchased this device to work from Wii to a Sony HDMI TV. Shipping was good and it arrived on time. It was very easy to setup and connect. The picture quality was as to be expected from the Wii to the TV. However, when trying to play games on the wii the converter keeps blacking out the screen. It blacks out for a second or two but makes it playing very difficult. This happens several times a minute and makes the game not playable. I would be cautious in using this with a wii to Sony HD TV. I can not speak for other combinations.Hope this can help others
