very minimalist best in exercise and fitness

I don't understand the positive reviews. Almost nothing in gloves. There is practically no padding on the palms. The only useful thing is the wrist strap. I ended up using them with a pair of cycling gloves over them. My arms aren't fat or bulky, so there's practically no free weight lifting pad. Very disappointed.
