Review on πŸ€ Clover Metal Open-Sided Thimble, Medium: Enhanced Comfort and Precision for Seamless Sewing by Gelin Battle

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thimble I've found!

I haven't tried them all but out of all that I've tried (about 15 different options) this is my favorite. It is adjustable, fits my finger best, does not fall off and also allows for longer nails. It is very convenient to use. My only problem is finding the one I have. I usually work on several projects at the same time and it's always the one I'm not working on. So I buy a few more - voila - problem solved. There are similar open-sided thimbles that are coated in silicone, but they don't slide well (because there's silicone) and they just feel thick and awkward. I've even tried those thin straps that are also coated in silicone, but my needle always landed where none was. Ouch! I've tried the standard round metal thimbles we all grew up wearing that never fit or fall off. I never understood how people used them. Maybe glue? I've tried a few leather thimbles that I like, but they can be a little thick and I spend more time holding them on my finger than I do sewing. I ended up looking for new thimbles and trying them out. I found one that works great for me. That's it!
