I love wool socks. My husband introduced them to me 25 years ago when I started stealing them from him. All my life I've suffered from cold feet year-round. Therefore I wear wool socks year-round. In the summer I only wear them in the house. These socks came package very well. There were no defects on any of the socks. These are beautiful looking socks. They look to be well made. They are made of 86% Extra-Fine Merino Wool, 10% Polyester, 3% Nylon,1% Spandex. I was quite surprised they are not as soft (still soft enough)as I would have liked nor are they as thick. As I'm sitting here typing this I can still feel the air conditioner air circulating through these socks. So far my feet are cooler than I would like but not cold. Maybe I'll use these as my summer wool socks. They have a lot of stretch. Almost feels like I'm not wearing socks that's how comfortable they are. They haven't left those ugly indentations on my calves as other socks sometimes do. I haven't washed these yet. I was too excited to try them out. I will update this post once I have fully put these to the test.
