Great price and great product

Summary: Easy to fold and easy to carry. I recommend for people who are spontaneous or have kids to put in the car or in a big bag. Has a chest strap and plenty of storage space and pockets. Good quality design and material. Pros: I've used this for travel as a weightlifting duffel bag and on many hikes including tight spots in Zion National Park on a water hike. I doubled my stuff in plastic bags, just in case, but everything stayed dry. I did not submerge my backpack in water. The water level reached my belly button and I tightened the straps to prevent leakage. I think the bottom of the backpack hit the water a couple of times but my stuff stayed dry. The sternum strap with buckle/emergency whistle and built in pockets in the front and where you fold the pack (top inside) were nice features as was the inner sleeve/divider. Light and durable material also liked. For hiking it would be better if it had 1 a waist belt, 2 a velcro to hang a water bladder in the sleeve and 3 the possibility to put a drinking straw through some guides without zipping up, but for the price it's great! Cons: One thing I didn't like was that the zippers would unzip with a weighted backpack if the zipper in the main body wasn't in one of the two bottom positions, either the full left or the full right as I found on one of my hikes when the center zip was closed to let the straw of my water bladder through. Now that I know the solution is to zip up in one of the lower positions, it's not that big of a deal. So far it seems very durable for casual use as discussed above, but I wouldn't try to zip-load it. A pile of school books every day.
