Review on Simple Deluxe Inch Pedestal Standing Heating, Cooling & Air Quality by Tara Perry

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A screw has come loose which makes it noisy!

Update: 3 months use The reason I'm increasing my rating back to 5 stars is that I moved the fan to another room that also has ceramic tile but was professionally installed. In the room I had the fan in, the tiles are not level which caused the fan to vibrate a lot and make a loud noise. It's not the manufacturer's fault that my floors are uneven! I installed it at the highest possible height and it's quieter than a box fan. I was able to eliminate the noise and vibration when the fan was placed on an uneven floor by putting a weight on the bottom, the fan is used at our gym and the extra weights looked good. Now that I have a fan in my living room there is no need to put weights on the base because it works great! The screw also stopped loosening after weights were applied. The fan has been in the new location for a few weeks now and is working great so I had to update my review to let people know it makes a vibrating noise because your floor is not level, it has nothing to do with craftsmanship . Fan! Yes, I recommend this fan if you have flat floors! Update: It started making loud vibrating noises at high frequencies so I lowered it to medium and the noise is gone. Today the noise is horrible at all speeds, the screw on the bottom is loose making a horrible vibrating noise. Previously received 5 stars for easy assembly, quiet, high wind power. Please update my star rating to two as I've only had it two days and the screw shouldn't spontaneously come loose, the noise is loud, I screwed it back in and now it's quiet for about five minutes before responding loudly and quickly vibration and then stops. again.
