The screen was scratched and dirty but seemed to clean well. There are scratches, but when the screen is on, they are not visible. The installation is quite complicated. I would recommend disassembling the hinge completely and separating the top half of the console (the entire top display assembly) for installation. This greatly simplifies the routing of the tapes and is probably how they are assembled at the factory. The instructions on iFixit are helpful. It would be nice if the screen arrived in better condition, not sure if the seller buys them in bulk and repackaged or if their supplier sends them that way.
