I was cautious when buying because I saw many reviews that it is gross, but I also saw many photos here in the reviews where more experienced nail technicians and nail technicians made them look exactly like them in promotional photos look - so I decided to try it. I am very amateur when it comes to nails. I make my own gels and that's it! Trust me when I say that like all nail products, this product takes practice to get right. When I first started using this I was initially disappointed, it didn't feel like much powder and the first few nails I did looked very gritty. BUT by the end of the set I realized I was using too much powder and pushing too hard. (a little makes a big difference!) My second set was much better and looks like my nails are sterling silver. Really reflective (and so silvery I feel like Xmen2's Deathstrike Lady haha) which I think works best for me - base coat, 2 thin coats of black gelcoat, no rubbing matte finish, that amazing powder and 2 thin coats of wipe clean mirror A coat. Apply as little powder as possible and rub in in a circular motion. Then use the clean part of the applicator to rub it in for a real shine! in general. I love this product. This is really cool and I'll probably order it again if it ever runs out! Just remember that practice makes perfect and if you're not doing what you should be doing, you'll probably need to adjust your technique!
