Review on Revive and Brighten Silver Tresses with London's Bleach Silver Shampoo 250ml by Bre Ellis

Revainrating 4 out of 5

HIGHly pigmented but very dry hair.

I have short platinum blonde hair. I have already used 1 bottle of Bleach Silver Shampoo (originally purchased from a UK salon). I never use it as a regular shampoo. I have ordered more from here as I no longer live in the UK. I don't know if the packaging has changed but it is very different from my previous BLEACH Silver Shampoo I had before. CONS: Very runny, VERY drippy/messy, not ideal for use in the shower as it drips EVERYWHERE. And the dark purple pigment stains clothes under the nails. Plus, it will REALLY sting if it gets in your eyes!-- The formula is EXTREMELY DRY. I only wash my hair once every 3 days, use lots of conditioner, moisturizing masks etc. This robs my hair of moisture with regular use. -- Not recommended if your hair is unevenly light blonde (for example, if I bleach the roots, they turn yellow and the ends are almost white blonde). The problem is that this product makes your white hair ends VERY PURPLE and then colors more yellow roots beautifully leaving you with light roots and full PURPLE ENDS that are difficult to bleach/blend) BENEFITS: -- The most pigmented shampoo, I've ever used platinum blonde hair, works best when your hair is evenly bleached: LIGHT BANANA YELLOW blonde (not orange, not white). This works well as a TONER if you leave it on for a few hours (if your hair is still banana yellow). So what I'm doing to fix it is a toner. I apply to slightly damp hair with a toning brush, leave on for 2 hours or more, then rinse and condition again. This method thins thickly dripping pigment, makes product application easier, retains moisture, and masks yellowing after bleaching or touch-ups.
