Works well for cartridges as they say
Everyone says this makes the replacement bulbs stick out of the lamp even more, but they actually add very little to the length of the new bulb. Bipolar bulbs are shorter than screw bulbs, so the problem is that the bulb itself is causing them to stick out. I don't care how it looks as they went into the ceiling fan in the bedroom so I'm happy.
