I've had these vacuum bags for a long time to seal the 3D printer's filament between prints. They work quite well and can be reused if not overused. The plastic was strong enough to bridge gaps without cracking under vacuum. I also vacuumed the (fluffy) duvet to see how much smaller it could be for storage. It has shrunk to about 20% of its original thickness. However, there are some issues with this kit. First, the pump is absolutely useless. You can rock it all day and it won't do anything. Nodteck would be doing his reputation a favor by not adding such junk to his otherwise good bags. Luckily, a vacuum makes removing these bags quick and easy, and most people still use them. Second, although the packaging and shipping material showed no signs of rough handling, several bags were damaged. It looked like they bumped into each other hard enough that the protrusions on the valve covers damaged the bag they were packaged in and left small holes in some of them. A bit of packing tape secures them for my use, but I don't think that would be a good idea for textile storage.
