Review on 🏺 Mid Century Modern Small End Accent Table, 1 Drawer, White and Caramel - by Walker Edison by Kevin Overturf

Poor quality control, great design.

I have the same mixed reactions to these bedside tables as most people. I can't give them the five stars their looks deserve. I love the design, I love the wood but I'm blown away by the poor quality control. The drawer slides are wood, not metal, so the drawers were sticky and difficult to slide in and out. I used a candle to lubricate the foil. Now it works fine, although I'm very reluctant to pull and pull out the drawers. I don't want the slides to grow any further. It would be much better if the drawer had a metal slide. Wooden rails make it wobbly and dated. There are no pre-drilled holes to attach the legs, making assembly difficult. My husband did it without a drill, but I'm not sure I could do it with just a screwdriver. Once attached the legs feel quite unstable, although they were fine when placed next to the bed with a few items for stability. Overall I really like the look. I like wood, I like design. They look like they are of good quality and with just a few small adjustments they will be of good quality. I'm happy to pay a little more to match the design. However, I'm glad I bought it and am now thinking about buying a TV box.
