This doesn't work for most people because the drivers that get installed when connected via USB are outdated or corrupted are. You must first install from the CD before plugging in the device. This requires you not to follow the instructions they give. If you choose to install drivers automatically, you must uninstall them and then use the CD. If you don't have a CD player, you'll need to uninstall the Plug and Play drivers. Then plug it back in, click cancel (to automatically install the drivers) and go to the Seagull website or whatever it's called. They have drivers there and recognize the machine via USB. You will then install the correct drivers. You need to download the installation package. No support and no working emails. I was going to send it back but luckily I found out myself. Companies should be ashamed. If you're not tech savvy, get a newer model; DT425A is the previous model. Or just get something else.
