Health Effects of Reverse Osmosis

Hello. I think this product is probably great and I wouldn't treat it like that if I could return it. I understand that the filter will add minerals back in, but that doesn't prevent any harm to health. I know this because I listen to my body and put two and two together to understand that this thing is a major health hazard. I had a bad cold about 10 days ago and I usually recover VERY quickly. This has now been my only source of water and cooking for the last 3 months or so. I've been battling this cold for 10 days now and it's not getting any better. I just couldn't understand why I suddenly had such a weak immune system. Suddenly it dawned on me that the only thing that makes my lifestyle different is drinking reverse osmosis water. I always got over a cold very quickly. This takes a maximum of 5 days. I will never see almost no improvement in ten days. Pain in the body, severe pain in the sinuses, severe constipation. I tried drinking LOTS of water. Then today I felt like my heart was about to stop. I quickly drank the unfiltered tap water and felt my heart return to normal almost immediately. I use extra minerals - trace elements - in my water. What I've learned from simple research on RO water is that the World Health Organization warns against it and not only does it not contain minerals, but DRINKS the minerals from your body and from the food cooked in it. Many people find that adding minerals is enough, but for me it certainly doesn't defeat Mother Nature. I think I'll settle for the bad with the good, not the total absence of the good. Reverse osmosis water also has a very high PH level, meaning it is highly acidic. An acidic environment causes inflammation. I think that adding minerals should also be done to regular water. I just don't think adding minerals to reverse osmosis water "reverses" the effect of mineral loss. Thank you and sorry
