There are many things to like about this thing and only two minor flaws. I specifically wanted to replace the old brush with a silicone brush. Because I have other silicone "tools," I know they're a lot easier to keep clean, are more eco-friendly, and last longer. So I was happy to find this brush, which also had a more comfortable holder than my old one, and a little "bonus" brush with a little space of its own. This little brush is the perfect size to get into all those little holes and crevices. A large brush needs to be assembled, which only took a minute. It did a great job flushing quickly and completely with no issues. My first complaint is that the fact that it's more than one piece means you're better off screwing it in all the way or it will come loose if you twist it. Brush deep into the bowl when cleaning. I felt it loosen up and immediately tightened it again, so it's fine, but make sure it's tight. Another thing is that to ensure airflow, the holder is detached from the outer shell and both parts have ventilation holes. I understand the goal is to allow airflow, but you either need to put something underneath, caulk the holes (like someone else suggested), or make sure the brushes are as dry as possible to remove them. or you wash the floor under the brush. However, none of these issues are deal breaker and overall I am very happy with this product. It's definitely an upgrade over the old one.
