Buy sealed ball joints instead.

Installed on 01 Honda Civic. Due to gap issues, the grease fitting could not stay on. Tried other angle fittings but gap didn't fit. Buy a sealed ball joint instead.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Some nuances

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good quality but instructions are limited.

the quality is good but the instructions suck! The trunk has vents at the top to prevent overfilling, but the manual doesn't mention this. Also, the locking ring is PITA so it can be put on. Also, the wedges hold the joint well, but it's difficult to push the joint into the joint.

Pros
  • price
Cons
  • not reliable

I fitted it and was happy the front is now much tighter than before

Arrived on time. I installed it and was happy that the front end was much tighter than before. Buttercups are excellent. Be sure to install them before installing the axle shafts as there is very little play and it is not easy to make them after the fact.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Something different

Not for RSX in ball joint and tie rod tools

It doesn't fit my 2005 Acura RSX Type S as advertised - it needs a 43mm ball joint. I believe this works for earlier RSX models up to and including 2004 (40mm). After that we have to replace the complete steering knuckle (the ball joint is already installed from the factory) and rent a press with threaded bearings from the local parts store. There are no lower ball joints made for the 2005-2006 RSX in any catalog I could find.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • old

Everything is going well so far. It's been 6 weeks now

I installed it on my 2001 Honda Civic. To my surprise, the original Honda ball joint did not have a snap ring. Everything is going well so far. It's been 6 weeks now. I would recommend hiring a ball joint press from Oriely or Advanced Autoparts as the Autozone ball joint press does not have all the tools you need to pull the ball joint out. Also consider getting a helper. Much luck!

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Clarity

Very good ball joint for 2002 Honda Civic LX

Very good ball joint for 2002 Honda Civic LX. To simplify installation, go to AutoZone and take advantage of the tool loan program if you don't have a hydraulic press. You have a hand press with part number 27023 and you will also need the correct adapter kit for your vehicle which is also available from the tool loan program. Check out the Model 3916D Tooth Wrench for a quality ball joint cage and replacement is painless.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen

05-06 RSX OWNER README

As stated on the Moog website, K90332 is the ball joint part number 05-06 RSX. However, this is not the case. After squeezing out my old ball joints and comparing the two next to each other, it turned out that the mug joint would not fit the hole in any way, it was too small. I would recommend using BB6 Prelude ball joints. Picked them up at my local Napa and they dented right away. Otherwise very solid construction; as you would expect from moog.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Great quality, performance, fits

These ball joints are worth every penny. I replaced all suspension parts with Moog and really feel the difference, great quality and performance. Some of my Moog parts are made in Japan, India and Mexico and I can say the quality is great for my Honda Civic ex 2001 sedan both so just order 2. And save yourself the headache of buying a ball joint tool to remove it. You can buy it here or buy it at the port for around $23.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly cracked
