Pretty special product. Calling it "band" can be misleading. It only sticks to itself. But it sticks to itself very well. It's more like flexible hard epoxy on a roll. In my humble opinion this is overkill and unreasonably expensive when another product like duct tape or plumbing epoxy would work. Does not work as a flat patch - it needs to be wrapped, stretched and overlapped to stick to itself. In many cases this leads to permanent repairs - garden hose repairs, some electrical and some non-critical plumbing repairs. A non-accidental coolant hose leak on an automobile engine indicates that the hose needs to be replaced as soon as possible. But can do it in a non-emergency situation. I highly recommend this product. He's incredibly good at what he does. Just remember to be aware of the limitations.
