Description of 🔧 Rescue Tape: Self-Fusing Silicone Tape for Emergency Pipe & Plumbing Repair, DIY Repairs, Seal Radiator Hose Leaks, Wrap Electrical Wires, Used by US Military - 1” X 12’, Silicone Rubber, Black

Most people carry Rescue tape in their Emergency bag, car or on a boat for unexpected emergencies. Broken radiator hose or hot pipe is easy to fix with Rescue tape because it can handle temperature up to 500F and pressure up to 950 PSI. Rescue Tape is extremely durable, but when it comes time to remove it, it does not leave any sticky residue like a duck tape. Rescue tape does not stick to anything so all you need for a proper application is to stretch it and overlap it. Excellent insulant. It creates Insulation up to 8000 Volts per layer. You can safely put your Christmas lights out, protect your antennas against UV light and corrosion or simply protect wires against harsh conditions and salt water. MILITARY DAMAGE BATTLE KIT: We are proud to say that Rescue tape is the only Silicon tape that is used by U.S.A military in their Recovery and Battle Damage Assessment & Repair Kit (BDAR KIT). Made in U.S.A.

This tape came to my rescue

This product did exactly what its name says and came to my rescue. On Friday I discovered a leak in the steam pipe of my oven. I called my plumber and they can't come until Monday. The next day the leak seemed to be much worse and my whole basement was filled with steam. I was concerned that the steam would dampen everything in my basement including wood, wires, etc. Things got so bad I had to turn off the heat to reduce the humidity in my basement. I ordered life tape from Revain and luckily…

Good material - with limitations.

Pretty special product. Calling it "band" can be misleading. It only sticks to itself. But it sticks to itself very well. It's more like flexible hard epoxy on a roll. In my humble opinion this is overkill and unreasonably expensive when another product like duct tape or plumbing epoxy would work. Does not work as a flat patch - it needs to be wrapped, stretched and overlapped to stick to itself. In many cases this leads to permanent repairs - garden hose repairs, some electrical and some…

Fixed broken pool pipe. Stretch Then Wrap

My pool pipe broke so we had to fix the leaking pipe. As "specified" the tape will stick to itself. Take the tape, stretch it over the leaking pipe. Pull tight to stretch to three times its length and wrap. Wrap it around the pipe and then back onto itself. It even works in running water. The point is to pull hard and stretch three times more than pulled back and stretch hard. I've used it under the sink in my house and have never fixed the pipe because the tape works so well and then it kinda…

USE IT CORRECTLY AND YOU WILL BE AMAZED!

I have loved this silicone strap since it was first made and I think it was called the F1 strap or something military related. There was a stripe on it. I was skeptical about this brand but now I see that it exceeds my expectations and works just as if not better. Now for the part why people rate this product low stars; misuse! How to use it properly; So if you are trying to fix something with a water leak. Start by drying both sides of the pipe first, as the first roll around the pipe should…

Works as advertised!

Excellent product as advertised. I use it to connect some baskets I made from several charcoal boxes to my bike. My old rack had a platform and it was easy, but my new rack uses tubes so I had to get creative. I haven't traveled very far so far, the main thing that worries me is the compression over time. I basically wrap the pipes until they are big enough for a 1/2 inch pipe tape to work so he baskets crushes him. I'll update it once I've ridden a few miles with baskets. In any case, it is a…
