My daughter was very happy with this Rover! It's intimidating when you first open it because the piece of wood boards look complicated, but it wasn't the worst thing in the world. Construction: Definitely takes time! The wood is designed to fit perfectly, so you have to press a lot and press on tiny details. But again... it's not impossible. You just have to be careful with the placement of your hand and fingers when attaching the other parts to make sure you don't break any of the very few fragile parts. Check it out: this rover looks amazing once assembled! It's not meant to be played with toys, but of course it can be if you wish. Otherwise, it's great for display only. It looks like it was done by a pro if you can appreciate the build. Feature: After a full day in the sun, our rover didn't move an iota! Very disappointing given the amount of work and time it took to assemble a sitting duck. We're leaving it out in the sun hoping that it will need a LOT of charging before it can be used... but for now it will only be a desktop model. So!
