This mug is powerful. It's big and feels very solid without being overly heavy. I bought this for my brother for Christmas as he is an avid fisherman who drinks coffee. I was impressed when I took it out of the box and so was he. I used to be a studio potter so I know a bit about fired clay. Most cups I see are too small and too heavy. This one is spot on. I'm not an angler, but I wouldn't mind getting one.
