Review on πŸͺ‘ Snailax Shiatsu Full Body Massage Chair Pad with Heat, Compression, and Kneading - Portable Chair Massagers for Back, Neck, and Shoulder by Aaron Barker

So close to really good

Pros: 1) Casters work very well. Give a good shiatsu massage. 2) The heating and vibrating function also works very well. 3) Handles pressure and extra body weight well. I was able to fit this in a zero recliner and it worked well for my weight. 4) Sturdy construction. Cons: 1) Airbags don't really do anything. The ones on the seat do press against the back of the legs and hip area and offer some comfort, but there's no real compression or massage. Their weight, combined with the airbags ripping as they inflate, creates a feeling of pressure. 2) Side airbags have changed little. Barely noticeable. I'm a fat person and I didn't feel any special "pressure or squeezing". A thin person doesn't feel much at all. 3) Management is not intuitive. There should be an 'All' button and an 'Intensity' button. The rest of the buttons can be used for more specific massages, but most of the time I just wanted to sit back and enjoy the warmth, vibration, pockets and rollers that just pop off. 4) Neck rolls and main back rolls are spaced 3" to 6" apart. It could be a height issue, but the bolsters and rear main rollers don't touch at the shoulders. I found I had to arch or slide down to capture the missing area. It was only about 3-5 inches of movement, but it was tiring. 5) Adjusting the "neck" rollers to the top or bottom of the rail caused a loud "pop" when the rollers were working at the very end. from traces. Summary: Overall, this is a solid machine that will transform any supported or reclining chair into a basic massage chair. It really helped with muscular back pain where the rollers could affect things. The remote control needs to be simplified or improved to be more intuitive. There must be a time limit greater than 15 minutes. Maybe set it to 15 minutes to 30 minutes. The airbags didn't add much to the fun. Heating and vibration worked well. You can let it massage in the right places and get good results in removing knots and relieving pain with the acupressure and body adjustment function. I wish this was a 5 star review. I had full massage chairs. I was impressed with the Shiatsu massage part. Due to some design flaws, it would have cost the full $200. Otherwise, I would suggest a model that only has rollers and heat.
