I have installed two of these pumps (1HP) and two pumps of 2HP. All pumps work fine. A few tips: - To secure pipe connections I would recommend using long Pro-Grade or XL (extra long) brass adapters with 12 barbs that allow you to install three clamps for each connection - use wide Pro- Grade clamps but not Home Depot clamps - To strengthen the clamps (so they don't come loose) I like to put tape over the clamps. Love this outdoor tape: http://amzn.to/24pn63j - Use a heat gun to help install barb adapters and heat shrink splices/sleeving for electrical wire connections - Dip the splices BEFORE you put your pump in place the well to check the electrical cables and connections for earth leakage
