Got these purple lights for Halloween. For the length of the strands and the number of lights, this was very advantageous. I was also very pleased that the lights, although small, are quite bright. We've had more treats this year than any other and I think the bright purple lights helped. We are at an intersection and the children could see that our house looks festive even as we walk further down the street. The lights are a lovely deep purple which our neighbors loved so much they told us they hoped we'd leave them on after Halloween. My only gripe is that the default lights blink/flicker every time you turn them on. You then have to press the button 11 times to get to the Always On template, which should be the default for me. This means I always have to turn the light on manually rather than using a remote control or timer which is a bit awkward given the location. I suppose this is a minor annoyance in the scheme of things, but something to consider based on personal preference and the convenience of your setup.
