First try. I heated this aluminum pulley on a metal shaft. Just about 30 seconds of heat was enough. I removed it easily with a couple of screwdrivers. The toothed belt pulley is not required at all. Went away like clockwork. Wow, I knew heat was important but had never done it before and the metal expansion results are great. This is the COG that had to be replaced for the supercharger assembly I'm working on for the car. Also used it to loosen two sheared off metal screws in an aluminum intercooler. Same result, simple.
