I bought this flashlight thinking it would last a long time, but after just a few uses it stopped burning. The gas flow seems so strong that the torch goes out. waste of time and money. Wouldn't buy this again. Update - I contacted support and they responded quickly and resolved my issue - I am now a 100% fan of Bernzomatic - they are absolutely what every company should be!

Great for heating pulleys to take them off!

First try. I heated this aluminum pulley on a metal shaft. Just about 30 seconds of heat was enough. I removed it easily with a couple of screwdrivers. The toothed belt pulley is not required at all. Pros
  • Pressure adjustable for stable operation when rolled over or in adverse weather conditions.
Cons
  • Only available in black

MUCH more comfortable than the Turner Turbo Torch - love it!

Even with propane, the flame is more than hot enough to "quickly" solder 1/2"-1" copper tubing with lead-free solder. I like the igniter built into the handle! MUCH more comfortable than my old Turner (Acetylene) Turbo Torch. When I ran out of charcoal for my old burner and had ONE fitting left to solder to complete my new water heater installation (that doesn't happen close to "end of work"), I borrowed a Bernzomatic from a neighbor and loved it . If I run out of acetylene, I no longer have to

Pros
  • Blade notch increases safety in case the flashlight falls.
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
