Fairly high but the back of the chair doesn't hold up
The chair is comfortable and high enough to work standing up. Sometimes I wonder why office chairs have a plastic handle on the back to adjust; I've never met anyone who actually stayed in place for more than an hour. Likewise, the footrest is adjustable with a plastic knob; it always ends up on the bottom even after little use, no matter how tight I pull it. However, since very few chairs are tall enough to work well at my standing desk, it still wins.
