Review on QQH Z12 Portable Monitor, 15.6-inch 1920x1080P, 60Hz, HD, External Computer Display by Kyle Williams

Revainrating 4 out of 5

True "HD " 1920 x 1080, not exactly a gaming monitor but a good size for remote workers

It's a good compromise between image resolution, device size for portability, and features. Not exactly for high-end graphics "games" as the description suggests (maybe change to "XBox compatible"?). PRO - True "HD" 1920 x 1080 - Built-in speakers for video conferencing - Mini HDMI and USB - C connectors - Worked with two different recent laptop models without drivers (not Google Pixel without Displaylink) - Good size in exchange for Portability and use for remote work (15 inch) - Good gadget gift category - Two USB-C ports with full power - It charges the connected device when the incoming power is sufficient (e.g. fast charging via USB-C ) - Good guide compared to others. Covers all scenarios from iOS to Windows. A one-year warranty is better than some big brands that offer a 90-day monitor warranty. It uses standard power components (USB charger + USB-C to USB-A cable) so you may not need to carry it around, or you can use components you already have. It doesn't matter, but it's noticeable if you use the touchscreen a lot, like on your Chromebook smartphone. With my usage style, that bothered me more than some others. - Not a gaming monitor (like most other portable monitors). It lacks the performance boost that gamers expect, despite being compatible with gaming devices like the Xbox. I don't like the foldable "body" but that may be my poor understanding of the folding sequence. They call it a "smart case," so I guess I'm the stupid one. Maybe the arrows on the plastic cover will help me. If you don't care about the cost, you can grab a portable 4K instead. Many modern devices and third-party external port extenders already support 4K. The same applies to larger sizes such as > 15 inches. Less portable but with more options to work with. - To avoid using a video conferencing headset, you need an external microphone. As with all portable monitors, there are several hard case options available that can withstand a drop or the crush of a heavily loaded backpack.NOTES. Please note that this device may not work with all computers. The presence of a USB C 3.1 port is not a guarantee. Compatibility - May not fit in all backpacks (Read my backpack reviews). It may be too "high" for some. Overall recommended for many purposes.
