I loved this humidifier for about 2 months. Actually I bought two. One for my reptile room and one for my bedroom when I sleep because I always wake up with a dry throat/nose. The first started making a loud strange noise of engine collisions (on video) after about a month and a half. So I took one from the reptile room for my bedroom and used it for a couple of weeks and now the same thing has happened to this one. No, it doesn't matter how much water is in it. I am extremely disappointed. I never write bad reviews but this is frustrating! I thought the first one might just be a fluke, but now that this one does the same, I can definitely say this is a bad product.
