I'm 5ft 3in and 145lbs. I bought the little one. I needed an inexpensive coat to wear between summer and winter. I live in New York where the winters are very cold and I have a very thick down jacket for this weather, but in the fall I don't need a sub-zero coat, I need something simple and warm. Here it is, it's also a very soft fabric texture that makes me feel good wearing it. It's cheap so it's not clear why anyone would expect perfect stitching, but it seems good to me and serves my purpose. Also, I have an awful pear shaped body. So when I wear a coat, my waist just the buttocks looks very big. This coat goes down my waist and I feel much more comfortable closing my saddlebags just enough to create a nice silhouette.
