I was expecting a white coat. Not white at all. More like taupe or tan or something. Damn. With this brand I wear XL in plus sizes, so getting XXL in this coat (not large) is very convenient. Looks good and the pockets are good. Wasn't in yet. This is an overview of the first reaction.

I was looking for a down jacket for a month before I bought this one. There were negative reviews about the filling coming out and the holes but when I received the coat it was perfect. My girlfriend has it too, it washes with no problems. I think the company got better quality control after the product reviews. Highly recommended.

This jacket looked very good when bought. But the first time I put it on and washed it in the washing machine on the gentle cycle, it almost fell apart. A whole heap of polyester fibers crept out from under the jacket's poorly sewn hem and clung to all my black blouses and trousers, which were also washed. It ruined all the blacks I've washed with that black jacket. Never buy this jacket - it fell apart after one use and wash.

This jacket comes in two pieces, the skirt meets the bodice at the waist, fixing the waist and then flares to cover larger hips. And it's US size, not Asian. That's how big our big is. Very comfortable, spacious. I went one size up from my usual L and was even able to afford a sweater underneath. And the aubergines are an attractive color. The neckline is too high for me, it would cover the chin, but the collar can be left open. I'm not sure, but I specifically chose this polyester fill instead

I'm 5ft 3in and 145lbs. I bought the little one. I needed an inexpensive coat to wear between summer and winter. I live in New York where the winters are very cold and I have a very thick down jacket for this weather, but in the fall I don't need a sub-zero coat, I need something simple and warm. The jacket lasted a month. A month later I washed them on a gentle cycle along with other down jackets from Uniqlo and Forever 21. Low and the filling was all over the laundry after I tried to take it out. The bottom seam of this 32 degree jacket has come undone or torn and the padding has leaked. My other jackets have been fine as always, the Uniqlo has withstood many washes with no damage and the Forever 21 was also washed for the first time and came out as plump as ever. Very disappointed…
