The shrimp died and the betta became dangerously ill
Please do not buy this item! I've done a lot of research on almond leaves and their usefulness in aquariums. After placing 5 leaves in 2.5 gallons, these leaves were the only thing I added to my aquarium. 3 of my ghost shrimp have died and my rooster is horribly ill with fin rot and just sits on its side or on a heater constantly getting water out of the air. I don't think it's flaked almonds and they have degraded the water quality in my tank so much that I took the betta out and will now do a full clean and start over. Do not buy! Go to another seller with a good reputation for flaked almonds.
