✔ ENCOURAGES REPRODUCTION --- If your tank has breeding betta, adding up Mini Catappa Leaves will provide your fighting fish multiple health benefits to help them reproduce actively. These premium-grade Indian almond leaves release healthy elements. They help in hardening scales and increase the health of this fighting fish after a fight. Use this raw gift for speedy recovery after a fighting game. Add 1 catappa leaf to 30-gallon water. ✔ MIMICS BETTA’S NATIVE HABITAT --- These tropical fishes are used to a habitat where leaves and other plant debris would often fall and settle at the lakes’ bottom. These leaves release different compounds including beneficial leaf which are found in abundance in their native environment. ✔ LESSENS STRESS --- Once these leaves are placed in the tank, the fighting fish tend to exhibit improved behavior. They calm down because they are provided a very familiar environment that looks and feels like their true habitat.

Not as pictured - fish and aquatic animals

I didn't like how colorful the photo was. All my leaves that I received were brown. My beta fish named Friday died anyway. Before he breathed his last, he said don't waste your money on these papers.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Doesn't work for me.

I love using natural products but this seems to have hurt my cock. Unlike some others, the leaf did not cause discoloration in my tank, but I did notice that my betta was starting to develop fin rot. I assumed it was my water but my water was tested. This is the only thing that turned up in my aquarium with roosters. My betta is better now but I will not be using this brand again.

  • Doping 🔥

Good Small leaves for freshwater aquariums

Bought these to add tannins to the water of both of my freshwater plant aquariums. They're small, but since I'm only using them as soil biomaterial, that's fine. The shrimp seem to love eating the biofilm of them and the snails. Does exactly what I want. Would buy it again, expect only sheets that are an inch or two long and maybe half an inch wide.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Some bugs

Mysterious leaves are good for fish and aquatic animals

I'm not a botanist so I can't say where these leaves come from. Here's what I saw in my tanks. They do not darken the water even after a month in the aquarium. Neither shrimp nor snails are attractive. There is no clear benefit from these leaves. I used larger catappa leaves which darkens the water and definitely attracts shrimp and snails. A 4 to 5 inch leaf lives 1 to 2 weeks. I would not recommend this item.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

I wish I could buy full size sheets

My sick rooster seems to ignore these leaves. A week after laying the first batch, I noticed black spots and took them out of the aquarium. (It looked like mold) I'm not sure if it's related either, but one night I noticed tiny white dots moving around the tank. It turned out to be seed shrimp and harmless, but I had never seen them before and the leaves were the only variable in the equation. I use them anyway and hope they help.

The shrimp died and the betta became dangerously ill

Please do not buy this item! I've done a lot of research on almond leaves and their usefulness in aquariums. After placing 5 leaves in 2.5 gallons, these leaves were the only thing I added to my aquarium. 3 of my ghost shrimp have died and my rooster is horribly ill with fin rot and just sits on its side or on a heater constantly getting water out of the air. I don't think it's flaked almonds and they have degraded the water quality in my tank so much that I took the betta out and will now do a

Comes with parasites.

Came in a bag with a lock. The main problem is that some of the leaves seem to have parasites. In my carbon tetra aquarium, coloring the water, lowering the pH, and adding some foliage helped. I was very happy with the product as my smoldering tetras multiplied within a week of placing the leaves. But I put the same leaves in another rooster fish tank and within a week I had these very thin white worms; about a millimeter across, but some were short and some were long. You are unsightly. I've…

game changer. suitable for fish and aquatic animals

These SunGrow Betta Fish Blades seem to be the missing link in the unnatural habitat we are trying to create for Beta Fish. I've been buying Beta Fish from Walmart for years, the ones that are more dead than alive usually lie on their side in very noticeable stress. Most have no tails and very few fins remain. There were a few people who died within hours, but at least they didn't die there. My success rate with her rehabilitation is around 80%, which makes me very happy. These leaves change…

Instant Mood Enhancement Betta

I'm too obsessed with my crescent tail, the White Walker, to start with. I had lots of fish as a kid but my dad and I could NEVER keep bettas alive that long so hurry about 12 years ago when I had a walker and was determined to make it thrive. He's honestly the toughest, liveliest little betta I've ever seen, and a real predator (if he sees a mosquito outside his bowl he'll smash the glass like hell to get to a live bug, which I did then kill and give to him). . So of course I wanted to make…
