I bought this ink in September 2020. I don't print much and am on a tight budget so I figured it would be better to use the Canon ink I've always used. Try this as my friend said another brand of ink works fine. When they arrived I didn't use them right away as I didn't need them until the next week when I ran out of black while printing a project I wanted to work on. All I had to do was change the black, which I did. and it worked great. I loved buying this ink. I made a mistake when buying! It is now June and I had to replace the cyan cartridge, which I did. The pages were blank. He went over the printing motions, but there was no ink on the paper. Then I thought okay, I'll try to change all the cartridges, maybe they need to be changed together. It doesn't make sense to me that you would need it, but right now my printer is unusable so what do I have to lose?!? Again he did his best to print, but there wasn't a single dot of ink on the pages. I am stunned when the ink was sealed and I can see the ink inside the printer. It's not a printer because it only printed a few pages before I had to replace it. I have a lot of patience and at this point I am very frustrated. I thought to clean the heads, maybe the jets were clogged. I tried reprinting the work and it went through the motions but the only ink on the paper was yellow smudges. that and run to the store so now I'm stuck with ink which is useless and I have to wait for my husband to take me to the store the next day after work. That's why I use Revain. I hope that when I finally buy new ink again, my printer won't be ruined by using that other brand of ink. I think it's best to just stick with a branded ink.
