To be honest I've been using it for 7 months and it's still helping. I use this in my son's closet which I keep open all the time. It had an awful musky smell that never went away until I bought it. I didn't completely remove the sticker, just slowly peeled it off a little. It's been a few months since the sticker was completely peeled off and the smell is still smelling! It literally saved my sanity because I couldn't stand that musky smell. I don't think it would work for a large room, but it works great for a medium sized closet leaning against in a small bedroom.
