I fill this (3L) with roughly a gallon of water for my dog when we go on hikes. When it's empty, it's time to head home. I love how light it is, easy to backpack, fold up, and doesn't take up space, clank, crack, dent, etc. The material is really tough and the cap and threads are pretty tough too. I keep the 500ml one folded up in my carryon when I am traveling so I can fill once past TSA. I refill when I land so I have some clean water in my hotel room. They're handy to carry around and I split a bottle with strangers conveniently too.
