This could have been a great tripod head if some effort had been put into the design rather than just mindlessly copying elements from some common heads. I wonder if it has ever been tested? The worst thing is the quick-release plate: there's no way to attach the camera there, it wobbles and wobbles. The pan rotation is so tight that the head unscrews from the tripod instead of rotating. It's a shame, because the materials are good and the workmanship is ok, it's just a bad design from the start. If you are looking for a working head and not a DIY project, I do not recommend this product.
