One issue that is not the seller's fault is that the instructions on how to reset the tape cartridge counter for the MFC-9840 CDW are incorrect in the product instructions. The procedure for this printer is described below.1. In Ready mode, press the 3 and 9 keys simultaneously to display the reset menu.2. Press the up or down arrow until you reach the band, then press OK.3. 1 to reset.4. Your printer should now be in a working state with a ribbon cartridge reset.
